How do you set up wireless interenet on a new laptop?

Enable wifi on the laptop.

Find the wifi networks that are available to be joined within range…then, select the one you want to join (usually, it’s the one in your house or apartment).

Then, add the username / password of the network you wish to join.

And done. :) Let us know if you need more detail, etc.

Hi thanks for the help but my network wont show on the list of choice although I am using it now on another computer.

Then you need to enter the name of the network by hand, eg, it’s masked…there will be an option if you don’t see the network listed, to type in the name. Use that one.

When I go into manage wireless network conections the name of my network shows up. but when I go to connect it is still not on the list.

Ok, so if you can’t connect…what is the message the computer gives you? There is always something, if you click the network and select “join” it’ll give an error if it didn’t connect…without that, I can’t help further :(
