What ar15 type guns (semi-automatics) are legal. For purchase in ca?
AR15's are legal in the United States. contrary to popular belief automatic weapons like the Ak47 are not legal no matter who you are. basically what you can get at a gun store is whats legal. BTW you CANNOT purchase any weapons without a license AND your not gonna get a license if you have a criminal record. the only people who can use automatic weapons or sniper rifles are police SWAT units as far as I know. and those guys only come in when there is an extremly dangerous situation
I'm not 100% sure but I don't think any semi-automatic guns are legal except for use in military or police work. Sam
