Sealing records

I am a 33 yr old convicted felon with 4 kids. I am not sure if your criminology touches this subject but anyway I have been inquiring about getting my record sealed so that I can move forward and I have been trying to find out if im even eligible for have my record sealed. I completed my probation and counseling and was let off, now I read information on sealing my record but I was confused about a couple of things and needed help figuring it out. I have called courts, da’s offices, parole and probation and even the attorney who represented me and believe it or not I still didnt get the answer to me question. if you have any resources, links or any information could you please funmail and help me try to resolve my question

I’m really not certain about this. I’m not sure where you’re from but here in Canada, you have to apply for a pardon from the government but there’s a long waiting period. Adults can’t get their records sealed, only minors can, but if you receive a pardon it’s as if you were never charged at all. My suggestion would be to consult another lawyer in the area, one who specializes in criminal law. I’m sorry I couldn’t be more helpful.
