how do you stop rumors?

you cant… they will fizzle out on their own, people have tiny attention spans

for me, whenever I get to hear rumors about me? I thought of it as people, looking up to me, soo envious, that to get my attention, they tend to make up stories that won’t even make them filthy rich or something.. people can be so intimidated sometimes.. lol! smile! rumors are nothing but a result of undying dilemma of people having nothing but mind others’ business, and stay envious forever… so pathetic… don’t mind them, it won’t kill you.. =)

totally agree, ignore them, if its a rumour it means its not true so therfore if its not true then dont worry, if you show people that it is getting to you then they will continue!!

Just ignore it Rumors go away eventually :] I personally wouldnt start anything back, because then they would spread another one & well… it may never stop.

I was going to say, start another equally juicy rumor, I have played that game- it can be fun sometimes.

MY BEST ADVICE, is to not let it bother you like xmelissax said- rise above it consider where it is coming from and the mentality of the people spreading the rumors- wave your middle finger and walk away.

spread a rumor back…JK bad you can say its not true or you caan not worry about it if its not true
