How do I make my room "scene"?

Use your own unique style/.

Black and neon everything, maybe a graffiti wall where you spray paint in neon all over it, band posters, checkered and striped things, you can hang old records or cds on the walls for decoration, paint lyrics from your favorte songs on the walls in black paint, black lights.

black walls are a must. Paint quotes/lyrics on your walls in eye popping colors like neon orange and neon pink. Also set little colored lights (like the size of a flash light) in the corners point up towards the celing so the room is colored and funky. Band posters, band t-shirts on the walls, neon bed sheets, paint your own artwork and hang it up. Skulls, graffiti, animal prints, chop up barbie dolls nd nail them to the walls with quotes of beauty, silly things like pon and zi, feather boas for boarders along the celing, paint animal prints on the walls, make each wall different maybe one black with neon stripes, one hot pink with the barbie and balck quote, one bright yellow with black artwork, one totally covered in band posters.

Black walls (ooh chalkboard paint!?), buy a huge sheet of mirror and hang it on a wall, then write song lyrics on it in eyeliner… Scarves draped seemingly at random around the room… Playboy and Hello Kitty pillows, disco ball, neon glow light, band posters, animal print pillows…

a really nice effect is like band posters they look amazing against bright walls and make sure you use loads of colours but i suppose depends on how much your buget is i guess
