What are some good reasons to tell your mother that you want an online school?

I want to use K12 but I don’t think my mom would let me unless I have a good reason.

Answer #1

You’re getting bullied in school. You don’t understand things the way your teacher teaches it. You feel like you would make better grades doing online schooling.

Answer #2

Hm… at your age, if you were my daughter, I wouldn’t want you to either. You still need to interact with kids your age. Online school is much harder. I’m in college, and I even have trouble taking online classes lol. I’d prefer listening to a teacher. Why do you want to take school online?

Answer #3

I’m only getting bullied like a little like getting called a whore, and slut, etc. I hate how my teachers, teach. All they do is scream when you don’t understand. IT DOESN’T HELP!

Answer #4

Well, explain it to your mom. Just ask her if you can try the online school, and if you do well and make good grades…then you can keep doing it. However, if your grades start slipping, you go back to regular school. That sounds like a reasonable deal.

Answer #6

Answer #7

lol my bad.

Answer #8

If you feel like you need more one on one interaction with a teacher in which can explain things better to your liking. Some people learn and remember in different ways. Like, Im a visual learner, and some teachers do not use this style so its harder to learn. So if you were to use online school or just home schooling, this would be great for one on one interactions, plus without all of the drama of school settings.

Answer #9

Well why do you want to be in an online school? If it’s a good reason go a head and tell her, like if your falling behind in your classes or if you are being mistreated and stuff of that kind. I’m sure she will understand stuff like that.
