I must admit that I do feel sometimes I get evil. I have never used a racist term when relating to white African American folks because that is just pure wrong. I am black African American girl. To many they would call me African American and Caucasians just white, but they are not to be that privileged that they can’t be called African. I mean they say we all came from there anyway. I know I am not racist, but I do feel I am just getting more and more pissed as I get older with the racist white African Americans. Not all, but the ones I have encountered (Notice I am not mentioning all) seem to be such two faced, deceitful, evil, manipulative, people. I am just sick of these whites thinking they own everything. I just one day they could walk in another races shoes. NO whites aren’t superior and no we are not jealous are afraid of you. Don’t get me wrong I know this may come off as being hateful and being stupid, but you all must try and understand where many non-whites come from. This is 2008 and we still can’t get along. The worst part is in most people minds they think if it isn’t white it isn’t right. This is so sad. I must admit that this post first came off as racist to me, but I think the first way we must overcome racism is to understand how to work together. The problem is many don’t want to do this because they already think they are much better.

My struggle is not with racism but on judging people by their religious label. It’s something I have to work very hard at even though I know that people of the same religion can be VERY different. That’s one reason why I frequent these places - so I can be exposed to a variety of people.

And Joy Behar is an idiot.

Answer #3

no im not rasicst at all. I learn to judge people for who they are on the inside, not the outside :)

Answer #4

To be honest, I’m not racist. I like all types of people, african-americans, caucasians, mexicans, etc. I think all people should be treat nicely and fairly. Actually, I’m african-american and think it is cruel for people to treat african-american, and mexican badly. Martin Luther King Jr. didn’t just say that speech to entertain people. He did it for a reason, for african-americans and caucasians to become friends. That was like 20 years ago, and now in 2008, some people still don’t do that.:( Come on! World will be better if people treat each other kindly. Much Better.

Answer #5

I hate racism, but even when I was little I was always angry at white people for what they did and how they treat black people.:(

Answer #6

I’m not racist because I’m mexican american and I wouldn’t want to be judge just because of my heritage, religion, and sex… I have learned to see people for who they are and not what they are in the outside…

Answer #8

I’d admit I’m a bit racist but only towards white people.. sad thing is I’m white too. I dunno I have not really been exposed to it compared the majority of our population. I go to a really multicultrual school with many different races so nobody really discriminates that much

Answer #9

Burningintherain’s answer is very honest - it horrifies me that although I’m actively inclusive and non-racist and have many wonderful friends of varied races, the old cultural stereotypes or even language can still pop up in my mind even though I hate such things and don’t believe in them. It’s best to be aware that such ‘judgemental’ things can be buried very deep in us, because if we don’t admit to them, and don’t fight against them in ourselves, they could grow in us.

Answer #10

THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR HONESTY I DIDN’T THINK HONEST PEOPLE LIKE YOU EXCISTED ANYMORE.

Answer #11

According to ‘View’ co-host Joy Behar, ‘Only white people can be racist’.

Answer #12

I’m not so much a racist as I am simply just a person who can judge even if she doesn’t mean or like to.
