How can I quickly build confidence?

First step - breath, then know that you’re only human and so are they! Just be yourself, like you usual are with your bf and let the night flow rather then you predicting what’ll happen! If something does go wrong, I’m certain your bf will be there to have your back :)

Put one big mirror in front of you then make eye contact with you reflect for 5min.It help me a lot.Then make some conversation.It is really hard but worthy much to gain some confidence.

Just be yourself. Tell your boyfriend that you are shy and feel uneasy around total strangers. Ask him to make first contact for you. So when you set there, just take his arm, let him take you to people and wait for him to introduce you. Once you know a handful of names there, you will find it easier talking to them. And when you stand somewhere alone and don’t know who to talk to, go to where he is, take his hand and kiss him. And make a code for that situation. like pressing his hand twice. So he knows you feel uneasy/ weird. If he then says “Oh, Dan, this my adorable girlfriend Emma, Emma, this is Dan, he plays on Mikes football team…” he’ll be able to break the ice for you.

Step back and take a deep breath. Although you have never met your boyfriend’s side of the family, I bet you almost anything that they are not going to look for your faults. It seems in times like these when we are stressed about what people may think, we bury ourselves in our weaknesses and forget to be who we really are which counts the most. And if your boyfriend wants you to meet his family, he is obviously proud to have you as a girlfriend and wants them to meet you because he wants them to meet this amazing girl he loves - so even if you don’t have confidence in yourself, he has confidence in you and he will be there with you. It’s not like you are walking into a room of strangers alone :) Good luck!
