Hello, I have a 13 week old cockapoo puppy. (His names Jay)
My first question is: How big will he get? (His mother was a cocker spaniel, and his father was a toy poddle)
My second question is: Well ya see... my little nephew accidentally stepped on him a couple weeks ago. My nephew's 5, and a small kid. Well, now jay has a injury but we aren't sure where, and also how can we allow it to heal if we can't take him to a vet? Should we just let him be, and leave him alone and not pick him up and stuff for a while until we see an improvement? Please let me know what would be best.
Thanks!
My aunt has a cockapoo and he's about the size of a poodle. He's not a teeny dog but he's smaller than a medium sized dog.
Being that he's a puppy you should take him to the vet. If something is wrong with a bone then it may not grow properly and he'll have problems when he gets older. Also since you can't pinpoint the pain and since I don't know where he may have gotten stepped on.. his injury could be a number of things.
Puppies are more susceptible to injuries just like little kids are, so you should definitely take him to a vet.
Thanks guys, btw he is better now, I think he was just being dramatic or something. But he is deffinitley much much better.
