Prepared for the responsibility

I graduated college this past year as a Vet Tech and at the moment I do not have a job in this town that I recently moved to. The vet clinics around here aren’t looking for a tech so I’ve applied at a few places and today I recieved a call from an organization that finds “assistants” for disabled people. The job would be to take a college girl to class and take notes for her and help her with school and such. She has cerebral palsy and is in a wheelchair. I love to help people but I don’t know if I feel prepared to be responsible for someone in that state. Should I look more into it even tho I feel this way, I almost feel guilty.

Check it out - you’d be getting paid and very possibly make a huge difference in someones life - a real blessing, besides you may be the one learning the most…Take care !!

Answer #2

if you arnt ready for the responcibility-dont do it

think of it this way-if you arnt ready for it, you wont be helping the person, you might be doing the opposite

so just wait, one day you might be-and you can actually benefit someone else!

Answer #3

You shouldn’t feel guilty. If you think you are not ready to take on such a task than don’t. Never force yourself to do something you don’t want to do becuase you feel guilty.
