My printer appears offline to my computer

My printer appears offline to my computer. I have turned it off. Disconnect it. And it wont work. Why?

You might have uninstalled the printer driver. (The piece of software that tells the computer what just connected or how to handle it). If you have the disks, re-install the printer software, if not, you can usually download the software from the manufacturers website, usually under “support”
