How can I improve my chances of getting hired?

I am currently looking for a job, however, I am very new at job hunting and have never had a job. A friend told me of a place that was hiring, so I called them to confirm by asking them if they were hiring. They said they will be be hiring very soon, and are in the process of reviewing applications. So, I quickly submitted an application online.

But, now what do I do? How can I increase my chances of getting hired, or at least getting an interview? I don’t think just sitting back and waiting is going to help me.

I need all the advice and suggestions I can get, because I really need this job. So, any advice you guys have I will take, and it will be greatly appreciated.

You know what you should do is to keep calling and going back and really show them you want the job. Don’t be like so many and sit back and wait for your phone to ring, employers like that enthusiastic attitude that makes you stand out from the rest of the crowd. They want someone who really wants that job and is willing to make that extra effort to get it. Damn I have a lot more I could tell you on this, but I gotta go. Good luck!

Thanks, that sounds good. I’ll probably call them back in a couple days to ask them if they’ve had a chance to review my application.

be confident , never let them get the feeling that you MIGHT don’t know about something they asked you about even if you really don’t ..

let them believe that you really deserve it without telling that .. let them feel it with a big strong sweet smile on your face … :)
