How many people in the U.S as of now are Bi-Racial?

you know like mixed with black and white blood?

I am just curious, I mean their has to be over a 1,000 am i correct..i’m talking about the whole United States. And does anyone know when the Census 2010 data comes out? Because is’nt that the place to look for this type of information?

Yes, there’s more than a 1000. As for your definition of bi-racial, it is beyond incorrect. The higest rates of interracial marriages are between Asians and Caucasians, so they probably have pretty high rates of bi-racial children. The census will provide limited amounts of this data, I dont know if it will specify which races they are.

I can’t really speak for the US, but in tiny London alone there are WELL over 1,000 multi-racial people. So I think it’d be safe to assume that there are more than that in the entire expanse of the US. I’m not sure where you can find the information out, but it’s a ton more than that :)

In addition, it’s rare that you find someone with purely one race in them in these times. So technically the majority of people are multi-racial anyway :) it’s hard to ascertain specifics as well ‘cause people don’t always know what they are.

well i am also talking about when I mean Bi-Racial..i mean like African American mixed with white/caucassian. Or White mixed with American Indian,Hispanic mixed with black. Asian mixed with black.
