Peanut butter

Do you think it would be safe to eat the peanut butter I just bought 3 weeks ago even though they recalled all of it? I haven’t opened it yet for that reason. Should it just be tossed?

Answer #1

if they recalled it I would throw it away

Answer #2

if you are in doubt - throw it out.

OR you could go to the peanut butter makers website, and possibly find a list of recalled LOT NUMBERS- look at the jars you ahve purchased and see if they are a part of the effected recall- and you may also be able to contact that maker and ask them directly what to do with the jars you have- you may be able to get a rebate.

Answer #3

My grandma who passed away two years ago always used to say “when in doubt throw it out!” she was a neat freak lol but that just made me smile =)
