New pet mouse!

I got a young, female fancy mouse from petsmart. It’s sooo cute, but it’s so scared of me!! Everytime I put my hand in her cage or try to touch her she runs into this tube that I can’t get her out of. How do I get her to trust me and become more friendly? Giving her small snacks hasn’t helped enough :[

Just give her time. She’ll get used to you… I wouldnt try and force her out of the tube. When she sees you’re not trying to hurt her, she’ll come out on her own… I know it is frustrating, it’s all new and exciting and you want to play with her, but animals have individual personalities, and you cant rush them…

You should talk to it, may sound weird but it works for me! and dont be loud around it, give it treats, be slow motioned when going near it…

just dont feed her to no snakes. shes seen too much happen to her family =[ poor mouse. lol im j/k..just be nice to it. give it cheese and other stuff they like and try not to be loud or fast aorund it.

Just continue what you are doing.Remember they are very scared animals so try to move real slow when trying to touch them.It takes time for them to get use to u.I have two rabbits and it took them 3wks to get use to me.
