Ex felon who is having a hard time find a job

Hello im in need of some help im a ex felon who is having a hard time find a job . Nobody wants to give me a chance. I’ve totally changed my life . Am in the 12 step program. And trying to change . I have almost a year out of prison . Im a honest person and dont hold any punches . My crime is forgery and possesion of paraphanilla / narcotics. I had a addiction back then , but am now going on almost 6 years clean and sober. Im a hard worker I’ll be honest and say I dont have a lot of expierience at a whole lot except for working with food. I want to learn new things, but need a boost or sombody who can look past, my past my future means a lot to me.so anybody with a helping hand or good advice I’ll be here.

Ok, well the best I can tell you is to find someone you know, and have them attempt to give you a job, because that is the best way to get a job, if you find someone you know, get a job using them through a connection, anyhow.. good luck. :]

funny your sutuations soulds just like my moms who just started her job friday wow thats weird to say that she has a job lol any way she meet this guy that has a cleaning bussnes and hooked her up will 3 days a week for now cleaning little offices like in this plaza the are 3 places she cleans an inserance office and 2 more that am not sure of but if she can do it you can trust me she has been looking for a job for a lonnggg time fun mail me for me advice cause their is help out their. good luck and good job in your 12 step good to hear that!

My husband is an ex-felon and he got a job working at a felon friendly company. He has moved up fast, too. Try and find out what companies are felon friendly. Ask your PO officer. There are lots of that hire felons. Good luck!
