Do you think I can make Quarterback next year?

Ok, I am a 6th grader and want to play quarterback next year. I have 1 year of league experience (the highest anyone has in my grade is 1; I’m tied with three others who don’t want to play Qb) and I throw about a 30 yard pass accurately. I don’t think i can throw the farthest in my grade but I’m pretty close. I do know that I know the most about qb and am really accurate. I can also run the ball really well; I am especially good at the option.

First of all, Is 30 yards good for a sixth grader who wants to be a QB in seventh grade? And lastly, do you think I can make QB next year?

Yes, I think you can. You sound like you are pretty good, and it also sounds like you have the passion for it. Let your coach know how much you want it, and what position you really want. Then practice your heart out everytime the team practices. Always give 110 percent, always be there and on time. If you do these things, I would believe you would definitely be QB next year and every year after that. Don’t forget us when you are in the NFL one day. :)
