Is this depression?

MY BOYFRIEND JUST RECENTLY WENT IN TO THE NAVY… I LOVE HIM SO MUCH…IM MISSING HIM SO MUCH… I’V tried ALMOST EVERY THING FROM HANG OUT WITH FRIENDS TO RUNNIG AND GETTING IN SHAPE… BUT NONE OF IT SEEMS TO KEEP MY MINE OF HIM… I DONT SLEEP AT NIGHT AND WHEN I DO I HAVE THESE HORRIBLE DREAMS A BOUT HIM COMEING BACK CHANGED OR HIS MOM CALLING ME TELLING ME HES DEAD… ME AND HIS MOM ARE VERY CLOSE AND SHE TELLS ME EVERY THING GOING TO BE FINE BUT I DONT FEEL IT… THE BAD THING HE IN BOOT CAMP … THATS ONLY TWO MONTHS BUT IT SEEMS LIKE ITS TAKENING FOR EVER… ALL I CAN THINK ABOUT IS GOING TO THE DOCTOR AND TELLING HIM SO HE CAN GIVE ME SOME MEDICIN FOR DEPRESSION…DO YOU THINK THATS WHAT IM GOING THROUGH… I NEED SERIOUSE HELP!

its not depression dont worry, you’re just extremely worried for him you should know that if he loved you just as much as you when he left means he cant POSSIBLY come back changed..he’ll still love you if not more from being apart for so long dont worry you just have to try and cope with it.. medicin wont help this its just 2 months :) you’ll manage!

this kind of sounds like depression no ofense, but as long as you know and you think everything is going to be allright you shouldnt worry and if you really cant sleep you should try paxill, and yea you do need a prescripttion, but allways be positive and happy

You are pining for him. Unfortunately he’s started a career that is going to take him away from you for months at a time in the future. You can keep in touch by mail, email, web cam and phone but its something that you will have to get used to because that is what joining the forces is all about , working away from home.

I feel for you because my partner is away monday to friday and i find that bad enough.

Not depression, you are just anxious and lonely. He will be back soon enough, and things will be fine again. :)
