How much money would they give me if I pawn my mini laptop that was a little over $300 but the charger doesn't always work?

My guess would be $70, but it all depends on the shop and condition of the laptop.

Usually, something is worth a little less of 3/4 of the RRP if it’s second hand in good condition (obviously depending on exactly what it is). Pawn brokers need to make money off it when selling it too, so they will most probably give you half of it’s RRP provided it is in good condition. Now, you brought the laptop for $300, so half is $150. The charger doesn’t always work so I’d take off $60~ you are now left with $90. As long as the actual laptop is in very good condition both cosmetically and internally, my guess is that you’d get between $60-$100 for the laptop and broken charger.

$50 bucks probably after you tell them the charger will not work.

Also remember, it has to be something that people would actually buy. Pawn brokers don’t want junk and rubbish, they have a fast, high stock turnover. They would probably accept an apple computer easily, but I don’t know what kind of computer you have so I can’t say whether they will actually want it either.

these prices given are probably right, pawn shops are usually not the best place to sell ur stuff, try selling it on ebay, you can probably get almost full price on there, but it does take alittle longer to get the money

300 isnt that much of a big buy, so too make a big profit on it they cant give you much, i would say it will definantly be less than $100, and even less since the charger doesnt always work. generally pawn shops make at least 3 times the profit on what hey buy
