How do I tell my mom I have started my period?

I started on the 4th of July.I was thinking about telling her tomorrow when we are hanging out but idk how to tell her. PLEASE HELP ASAP!!!!

I just said to her, Mum i think i’ve started my period. then she went out and brought me some pads. I know its scaring and embarrassing but she will obviously understand and help you :) good luck

Just tell her lol. Or if you know where the pads & tampons are, just use them. She doesn’t have to know.

You think it’s odd for you, I was raised by my dad. As far as awkward goes I won’t even talk about that day, it was very embarrassing for both of us lol :)

Use her pads, when she finds pads that she didn’t use in the waste bin, she might get a clue, if you are the one that takes out the trash then you could go out and buy your own pads, when your mom sees the new, not-hers pads, she’ll get a clue. After that, telling her wont’t be so awkward because she already had time to contemplate.
