I think for certain crimes they may get the same punishment like on real bad crimes, but the less severe the more leanioncy the woman gets

It all depends on the judge. While we’d love to think the judicial system is fair - it isnt. Women do get off with less harsh scentences most of the time if its a male judge. Its not just women though, celebrities get off easier, wealthy people have less harsh scentences than poor people, in some places a white man will do less time than a black man, etc.

Well as much as we would like to think this world is fair, I have to say everyone has prejudice toward something. It could be race, sex, status, lifestyle, etc. That is the way the world has been and is going to be. I would like to think that judgment has a blind eye to this, but I did not grow up under a rock.
