I have a LG xenon. I changed some my audio wma files to mp3 (ringtones that came included are mp3). I download my music mp3 files onto my mini sd and insert into phone. It recognizes my mp3 music and plays them fine, but will not allow me to use them as ringtones. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

When I go to Settings on my phone, I do not see Memory. Is there somewhere else on the phone I should be looking for that?

The LG 260 which goes under a host of names, will use any MP3 song that you load into My Audios as a ringtone. You can transfer music to the phone w/0 bluetooth; I know, I just did it. You will need a micro-card (a 1 gig is available for less than $5.00) and if your computer doesn’t have a port for it, a reader/writer available for between $3 and $8, if you look around. You’ll need to put the card in the phone and under Setttings, memory, save options, card memory (check this, this is the hidden key!), turn your phone off and back on and it will format the card. Take card out, put it in reader connected to your computer, use windows explorer to cut and paste mp3 to audio file on your card. Pop it back in your phone. On your phone go to Multimedia, My Audios, Send, and send it to your phone. Click on settings, sound, ringers and it is waiting for you. After you do it the first time, the process is a lot easier since your card is aleady formatted.
