It depends on what condition your skin is in as to whether you even need concealer. I don’t use it myself unless I have a pimple that won’t cover completely with just foundation. Concealer is like a very concentrated form of foundation - you only need a tiny bit on any spots, redness or dark eye circles. Apply it on a clean moisturised face before you apply foundation. Blend it in with your finger so it’s not too noticeable. Then using either your fingers or a makeup sponge apply foundation in short strokes over your face. Start oh your nose and blend the excess outwards over your cheeks. Then apply a small amount on your forehead and chin. The key word is BLEND, especially when you get to your jawline. You don’t want an obvious ‘foundation line’ which looks terrible. If you have picked the right colour for your skin tone then it should blend easily into your skin. I see a lot of girls who wear foundation that is way too dark for them - this is not a good look. If you want a bronzed look then sweep a light dusting of bronzing powder over the foundation rather than use a dark foundation. Hope this helped.
