What's this lump by my ear?

About 2 days ago I noticed a lump by my ear where the ear lobe meets the face and I thought it was a zit but it didn’t hurt and it doesn’t have a head on it. During certain times of the day it will get bigger and smaller and its a little hard. I’m going to see my doctor to get it checked out, but does anyone know what this could be? Could it be a swollen lymph node or is that just behind the ear? I’m a healthy girl and never get sick other than having sinus and allergy problems.

It might just be a lymph node. You have them in a ton of places on your body, and they swell before, during and sometimes after you’re sick. It can also be a sign of an ear infection. Getting checked it checked is a good idea just in case it’s something a little more serious.
