I think it’s because she supposedly talked John Lennon into leaving the Beatles.
She is blamed for breaking up the Beatles, but even with out her they would have broken up anyway. She gave John Lennon the confidence and support to go solo.
And also because Yoko boosted her own Artist-Career using the Beatles’ fame. Nobody would ever have heard about Yoko Ono if she hadn’t married John Lennon.
And then she’s also a little hypocrite. I mean John and Yoko were doing songs like “imagine” together, talking about “sharing all the world” and yet, they bought an entire expensive apartment for keeping her collection of pelt mantles in an appropriate climate . Some Beatles fans claimed that she corrupted John.
