How can I lose body fat?

I run 3 miles 6 days a week and do interval training of different things for about 30minutes at night and am eating as healthy as possibly but i am not loosing any stubborn fat. How can i get my body to be more muscular and less fatty?

Answer #1

You probably are losing fat but because you are gaining so much muscle it isn’t telling you on the scales. I suppose you could try and incorporate some negative calorie foods in your diet, celery, apples etc. I would also suggest eating more protein high foods and try cutting out carbs as much as possible but not completely because you need both for your body to function properly. This way you won’t lose muscle just fat.

starving

I hardly think you need to lose any body fat. However, if that is what you wish to do, continue to do what you’re doing. Exercising usually doesn’t lower your body weight-the body usually finds an equilibrium and likes to stay at that weight (it is different for every person)-it just burns fat and replaces it with muscle. This is why many lifetime professional body builders are three-hundred pounds or more but they are very muscular. But, as I said, it doesn’t look like you need to lose any fat at all. If anything, I would tell you to gain a little weight.
