How can I get longer and healthier hair in a month?

I fryed my hair about 2 months ago while trying to bleach my hair (I tried going from dyed black hair to blonde; so it never really turned the right color…). Because of my mess-up I had to chop off my long hair, to about my shoulders, just to get all the dead hair off.

Since then I’ve dyed my hair back to a brown using an amonia-free hair dye twice. Also, my hair hasn’t grown back much since then (maybe about a little over half an inch).

How can I get my hair healthy enough to want to grow back? Do I need to get it proffesionally fixed? What products or procedures can I do by myself that won’tbe overally expensive?

Answer #1

Take vitamins daily. Something you can do to encourage hair growth is massaging your scalp. Talk to someone that knows about hair.

Answer #2

Vitamins is always a good start, but if that’s not practical enough, just drink a ton of water. That’s good for everything, not just your hair. Do a deep conditioning treatment. If you can’t get to a beauty supply store such as SALLYBEAUTY or ULTA for the really good stuff, it’s all good. Just go to a Walmart. Popular lines such as Pantene, Dove, and L’oreal all have deep conditioning treatments.
