Well it jsut depends on how well you look after. It sounds very special :) Make sure that whenever you wear it you take it off before you go to sleep.
Keep it seperate from other pieces of jewellery to avoid it getting scratched. If it’s a chain hang it from something so that it doesn’t get tangled too easily.
It’s best not to wear it in the shower or swimming.
You can always get it cleaned by taking it a jewellers or by using a jewellery polishing cloth.
it depends on how often you wear it. gold platig inevitably wears off and the metal beneath will show aftre use. gold plated isnt anything like real gold, its just plated in gold (its covered in a very very thin layer of gold). so it all depends on how often you wear it. try not to wear it 24/7 and ry to avoid taking it to the beach or in the shower
