Lip liner with lip gloss?

I’ve heard that you use lip liner with lipstick. But is it possible to use lip liner with just lip gloss?

just line your whole lip with the liner, and then colour it in fully. that way the colour last’s longer, and then just put gloss over the top

Ugh forget the lipstick/lipgloss. all you need is chapstick enough with that sticky stuff

Yes, just make sure that the gloss either has a tint to it or you use a very light colored lip liner. Dark lip liner with just plain gloss - comes off trashy looking.

Yes, thanx for the suggestions. I definitely agree when you say that the lipgloss has to be colored. If the pale lipgloss wore off and the lipliner was still there, that would look strange…
