Lip gloss shiny

what ingredient makes lip gloss shiny. I am making my own lip gloss and I want that super shiny wet look. Any info helpful. Thanks

try oil.

I made lipgloss with my niece using warm vaseline and koolaid powder, plus sugar. You melt it together for 15 minutes in the microwave. It is super shiney and tastes great.
