Liking some one as a friend means that you like a person to hangout with and be friends with However, to take it from one to the other isn’t something that you can force. If its meant to happen it will happen, and if its not then its not. The more you try to force it the more you lose what you want

Liking some one as a friend means that you like a person to hangout with and be friends with and when you like like some one that means that you like that person to be more than just friends as in a boyfriend or girlfriend.
