Lazy & Frumpy

I am 52 years old and just graduated (finally) from college. I like my feet because they are small (5’ 2”) but hate my short legs, wide waist, long hair, and face. I don’t have a full length mirror because it is too depressing. I don’t go out because I can’t even match jeans. My husband buys me fantastic clothes and shoes which only makes me stress more. I would love a makeover but I don’t have any friends to recommend me. Family says I’m cute but I just feel ugly, boring, and too lazy to do much about it. I would love some advice from the wise people online, and want to feel pretty at least once in my life.

Congrats on college. Forget the clothes, why not do a pamper me day. Go to a hairdressers get a good chop (any goo hairdresser should be able to recommend something to suite your face) maybe get a colour. Its surprising what a good cut can do to the confidence. Treat yourself to a facial get your nails done. Your after finishing college thats a huge thing - one day of pampering you definatly deserve. As for the clothes splash out a bit extra on a good comfy bra - get properly measured, and get a pair of magic nickers they do wonders. You just need to feel good about yourself after the long slog through college. Be Happy x
