How to make a wheelchair for a cat?

I honestly wouldn’t know how to start myself, but I would take a photo of a one and try myself. perhaps use roller skate wheels.

get skateboard wheels, three metal rods, two cloth holder things some screws, straps( like a belt ) and a hook that attaches to a collar or something, and another thicker rod to hold the wheels, and three short thick rods to hold up the legs. attach the wheels to the thick rod, and then the three short rolds to the thinki rod, one on each side, and one in the middle. put the three long rods on the three short rods ( depending on how fat your cat is you may need supports for them) and put the two mesh cloth things over the three rods( this will hold his legs) put the straps on, one over the back of the rolds and the longer one at the front. put the hook on the cats collar and attach to the two points of the two outermost long rods. out yiur cat in and enjoy!

My brother (username funguy here) made one for his puppy when she lost the use of her hind legs, because of the same issue. Those pet wheelchairs are expensive.

However, with some tools, and things from the home depot, lowes or another store, you can make one yourself. It might cost 30 or so for the supplies, if you have the tools, but the one my brother made worked fairly well when I saw the dog using it.

Why can’t it use it’s hind legs. I had this happen to a cat I had and took it to the Vet and found out it was Lysol Spray I was using. This was years ago before I knew not to use it around cats. Anyway stopped using it and the cat started walking again.

My cat now rolls in it and it doesn’t bother him but I was reading the other day that Febreze can have the same above effect on pets.
