Ok a few hours ago I was thing about randomly emailing anyone but just typing a random email just to see who I can chat with,is that a good idea?

no, at least not with your personal email account because you neevr know who your emailing it could be a peron, it could be a scam company, it could be one of those stupid “YOUVE WON THE UK LOTTERY” sites and if it is, all youll get is spam that you can get rid of, and probably viruses if you want to talk to random people try something like msn or a social networking site just dont give out important details like your second name, phone number, address, suberb, pin numbers, passwords, ect
