Kids with A.D.D take what?

Whats riddelen? I don’t know spelling but kids with A.D.D. take it. What is it? j/w its a random question.

Answer #1

There are a number of medications for ADD. Ritalin is the most common one.

In the US Ritalin and related drugs are Schedule II drugs meaning that they are more tightly regulated than standard prescription drugs. This is because this drug has a high potential for abuse. Prescriptions for this medication must be filled within 7 days of when they are written and the person picking it up must show photo ID.

Though a central nervous system stimulant it often demonstrates the opposite effect on children with ADHD. It calms them down and reduces their hyperactivity.
