Is it ok that I'm only 16 and my wisdom teeth are growing?

Answer #1

Wisdom teeth are a natural part of life. Its not so good if you had braces and they start pushing those expensive straightenings skew again. That is what started to happen to me. I just went to my dentist and he had me opperated to remove them. The opp is no big deal, it just hurts really bad while things are healing. One tip: ICE! It helps your cheeks to not swell as huge and become so blue.

Answer #2

Now just think how much wiser you will be, I had mine removed. :)

Answer #3

Yes it is normal. I had my 1st wisdom teeth when i was 17 years Old , so nothing to be worried. Some people gets earlier but for some it takes a long period of time. So, it depends on the person. You may feel slight pain when the teeth is growing but within few days the pain should disappear. .

Answer #4

ppl say dat u stop growin wen ur wisdom teeth begin 2 grow is that true??

Answer #5

Yes, some people do get them earlier. My ex got them at 17, for example, but I am 21 in a few months and mine are just trying to come through now. Use bonjela/ baby teething gel if your gums hurt and maybe go to the dentist for an x ray of your teeth, just to make sure they are growing straight and ok. It may be that 1 or 2 come through now then the others in a few years, or you may get it out of the way early. Either way, there is nothing to worry about.

Answer #6

Answer #7

It depends what age you are. My wisdom teeth showed up when I was 17 and I had stopped growing by then… But I’m a girl and girls stop growing earlier than boys.
