Answer #1

yes all jobs require a phone number to contact you for an interview

Answer #2

yupp.

Answer #3

I think its optional though a good idea to give it to them, if u have a house phone that shud be good enough

Answer #4

Yes, and it would be in your best interest to give it, so they can get a hold of you personally and know they you got the message

Answer #5

yes they do but a good way to prevent it is to get a cheap phone and give them the number to that and keep it with you at all times (make sure you have a different ring tone) and then it shouldn’t be a problem

Answer #6

Home phone - yes … they need a way to contact you. Cell phone - no … unless it’s your only phone. Consider that even in this day and age, not everyone has a cellphone. An employer won’t turn down a good candidate for a job for that reason alone.

Answer #7

My company requires me to provide my mobile number but they also pay me a stipend for it. Otherwise I’ve never given my employer my mobile number. Unless you are on-call your home phone should be good enough.
