Should I tell them I want to join the Army?

I’m hoping to join the Army (or be a paramedic) when I leave school. My brother and dad are in the Army and my grandad was so they know what it’s like. But I don’t know how to tell them I want to join because they might think I wouldn’t manage it or anything. So I could I tell them?

Ask them.. ‘What do you think about me joining the army?’ Of all people, they know what it’s like and maybe they WILL think it’s too much for you to handle. Not to mention they’re family, so of course naturally they won’t want you to go.
