On Friday, November 22, 1963, 35th U.S. President John Fitzgerald Kennedy was shot first in the neck, and then on the right side of his head. The shooting took place at 12:30 p.m. Central Standard Time, in Dallas, Texas. He was pronounced dead a half hour later, at Parkland Memorial Hospital, at 1:00p.m.
