Why does JAVA have to update so often?

Thanks, the Internet explorer 8 thing that wants to do the typing for me won’t leave me alone either, constantly pops up with no go away option, I’m about ready to shoot it and hope it dies.

Thank you very much dude I’ll look into it. I have good virus protection service that I pay extra for and it does update and do scans on a regular basis. I don’t bank or put any sensitive info on the computer, I’m old school and do as much business in person as possible.
