Is the pill safe for a 13 year old

if your that afraid of something uve heard but bad things about do you really think its ok. if your friends jumped off a bridge dont you want to be the person who looks over the rail and says idiots

Don’t take the pill to stop your period. Thats for old people who have like 5 periods a month. Let nature run it’s course, periods suck, yes, but it’s part of life. You are only 13, your period will only be a couple days anyway. Just take your pads/tampons with you and have fun on your vacation. If it’s swimming you’re worried about, use a tampon. I wear them in the pool.

oh for crying out loud, no one on here is a doctor, so they have absolutely no idea whether the pill will hurt you or not. Why dont you go see a doctor and find out what they think? You’re going to have to see one to get the pill anyways, and if it is bad for you, they wont prescribe it!

YOU CAN GET TAMPONS FOR TEENAGERS. THEY ARE SMALL. THEY DON’T HURT. DON’T WORRY ABOUT THEM. IT’S NOTHING LIKE SEX IF THAT’S WHAT YOU ARE WORRIED ABOUT. I PROMISE THOUGH, THEY DON’T HURT. FIND A COMFY POSITION IN THE BATHROOM TO INSERT IT AND ALL WILL BE WELL. I KINDA CROUCH ABOVE THE TOILET WITH KNEES BENT. SOME GALS SIT WITH LEGS OPEN AND SOME STAND AND PUT A LEG UP ON. FIND WHAT IS RIGHT FOR YOU.

I don’t think she needs advising to go to the doctor…I think she’s basically asking for an opinion, she will ultimately do what she wants to do. but knowing that there are people that support her doubts may help her make a more informed decision. and no not a doctor just a student nurse whose doing councilling as part of her degree…
