is my belly infected!?

hey I’ve had my belly peirced for about a year now, and I kept opening and taking it out because my mom doesnt know about it. the hole would always close, but id open it up again. now I’ve left it in for a while, and its gone red, and white-ish puss is coming out. is this infected? how could I stop it?

It could be an infection or it could be your body rejecting the insert, You will need a doctor to tell the difference. If it is an infection, it needs to be treated. If it’s a rejection, it’s going to have to be taken out and let it heal

my lil sister got her belly periced aswell and my parents didnt know bout it either and she was left with a scar, I think she got infected but im not excatly sure I know she was using some drops for it and when my mam found out and kicked her roun the house lol she was left with a scar so my advice is take it off until your 18 because if you got an infection your more than likely gonna tell your mam and if your not allowed im guessin shes not gonna laugh it off lol x

White puss is good,if you don’t want it pierced then take it out so it can close up but I’m warning you it takes a really LONG time for it to close up,if you want to keep it then DON’T take it out and it will heal you shouldn’t take it out for 6 months I had to take mine out on Christmas day and mine is much better need more info email me at courtneymorgan_x@hotmail.co.uk Hope this helps.
