Is it true that the Majority Leader of Congress attacked a citizen?

Is it true that the Majority Leader and some other Congress-people, in an unprecedented move, attacked a private citizen of this country, attempting to have him censored and lose his job over an allegation, since proven to be false ?

Auction of the letter that was put up to benefit our troops raised over $4,000,000.00 - breakdown - Betty Casey Has Winning Bid at $2,100,100 - Mr Limbaugh matched the amount - Mr Ried and signers did not accept the challenge to match - He claimed that all in his party would have signed, but there wasn’t time - so it remains to be seen if a new letter is initiated with the remaining signatures.

Also heard that those responsible for writing the letter have been called upon to match the bid because all the money goes to support our Troops - wonder if they will…

I just heard on the radio, it was a letter to his employer and it’s being auctioned right now on ebay, current bid $46,100 with 5 days to go.

That’s a lot of money for the letter…however, it makes you wonder how much a story like this is worth to the media.

Given what I’ve heard about the government over the years…I’d buy it that this happened :) Let us know when there is a link to read about, etc.

None of the 41 Senators (who enjoy salaries that place them in the top 3% of the country) have matched any of this “Support the Troops” charity challenge - this is indeed a great opportunity to demonstrate their Support.
