ok I had mine one when I was 14 and yes it hurts a little 2 have it done..but if you eat ice and drink cold stuff then you will be okay..another think is keep it CLEAN brush twice day and there is this mouth wash that doesn’t burn at all its called biotene it costs more but it doesnt burn your mouth..let me know if you have anymore questions hope I helped a little

It’s sore, of course it’s gonna be sore. it swells for up to 2 weeks and you can’t speak that well during that time. you have to drink liquids high in protein to help the healing also. It is sore when the needle goes through, but not as sore as you think it’s gonna be. It’s less painful than biting your tongue. tell me if you get your tongue pierced!

I’ve had mine 4 two years and yes it swells up pretty bad

Well yeah…

Anything that causes a hole in your body is going to hurt… And yes it swells up.
