my chihauhua was born 9-3-08, she hasn’t had a period yet,but her nipples are swollen, could she be pregnant?

its possible, but sometimes female dogs can fake pregnancy symptoms. I would take her to the vet and get a check-up. It’s also possible she may have an infection. But it is more common for the dog to fake a pregnancy.

First she only may be pregnant if you breed her. Second she may be coming into her first heat. And Third if you are not sure, take her to the vet for a check up and any vaccines that may be due

She may be coming into heat now…she’s just about old enough. If she hasn’t been around any intact males, then it’s unlikely pregnant (and if you know for a fact that she’s never been in heat…then she isn’t pregnant).

hey my name is mary does she have a mate well a male in the house that isnt fixed??and she is just about old enough…and to tell ya the truth you can if a dog is on her period because she will lick herself and it wont get all over…if she is swelling it could be that she is pregnant…because at her age she should have went in heat already…any more ?’s just contact me …thanxx
