Would it be a bad idea for me to start exercising after recently getting out of the hospital?

Answer #1

Yes, most likely. maybe ask a doctor (like the one that attended or treated you). I mean, if it’s serious, I wouldn’t even risk it. And exercising isn’t just about the exercise itself, it’s also about a healthy diet.

Answer #2

well it was an ER doctor and such so i dont know how i can contact them. When they released me they said my vitals were fine so i figure it wont be to bad

Answer #3

Ahh okay, but if you still plan on doing so, which is risky. Try something light, and if you still feel fine, you can move up to something a bit more hard or so. And you know, have someway to contact someone if anything happens. I mean just to stay safe and stuff.

Answer #4

It depends why you were in the hospital in the first place but this is definitely something to consult to your doctor with.

Answer #5

I suggest you call the hospital where you were admitted. Since they know the details of your stay there, they can either tell you whether or not it would be safe to do so, or they can get in contact with the doctor who was assigned to you to find out.
