I am a 16 year old girl, I am a canadian citizen. I am right now living in santo domingo (dr) and my parents are divorced and I hate my life here and I am very depressed and want to go home, I also have a boyfriend in canada and I want to be with him. Is there any way that at 16 you can live with a family or something without social servies. And do I have the right to live in canada and stay?with a family..

I am not sure about the laws in your country, but I don’t think there should be anything wrong with living with another family member. Have you tried speaking to your parents?
