I really want a mouse?

I want a mouse but my mom said no because we don’t have a cage…after that I said I would buy a cage along with the mouse! But she said no again :( I really want one! how can I convince her I can take care of one and pay for one…(well actually both my parents…neither like when I ask for pets)I take care of my cat (I would keep the mouse in my room-where my cat doesn’t go a lot- so the cat doesn’t hurt it or get bitten!) so how can I convince my parents to let me get one?

I even have names picked out lol…for a girl:Macy and for a boy (I would not get 2 because I am not taking the risk of them breeding..because it would just happen to be a boy and girl lol):Sam…or Cody

Ouch, please dont get so over zealous with the cap locks. Anyway I would suggest getting a rat, they are WAY smarter and cleaner then mice.

o yes, rats are better. I have 6 rats and 1 mouse - along with many many many other pets :P and my one mouse smells worse then my 6 rats! also they are more sociable
