if your friends then just ask him straight out. the worst they can do is say no. and so what if they do? if you worry about that stuff all the time and never ask you’ll never know what could have been.

you can ask him =) or you can try looking at his body language. do his pupils dialate when he looks at you? is he standing facing you? does he fix his clothing when around you (equivilent to when a girl flips her hair in front of a guy)? how does he talk to you? does his voice soften?
