Why is my Dad so disrespectful?

I absolutly hate my dad! He shows me no respect, and even when I ask him very nicely to do something for me, he totally ignors my plea, and does it anyway. I was in tears, litarally sobbing, when he decided to spend the whole f** day at the horseshow… MY FIRST ALONE SHOW (with my saddle club)!!! I was actully on my knees begging him not to come! And please don’t say talk to your mom or ignore him and don’t react to his behavior, because that I allready tried that and it and don’t work. And also don’t say that I should be thakfull for him and that he actully is paying for a horse, because that all came out of my mom’s pockets. Please help!!!

okay i really dont have an answer for you but i have to tell you, you should be happy you even have a dad mine gave me up for adoption and he one that adopted me died wheni was 1 yrs old. their are plenty of people that dont have a dad. so you shuld be grateful you have one. try to get along.

Thanks for the advvice, but I have allready tried to be mean or rude to him and be firm and tell him that I don’t want him involved in this, but it doesn’t work. Currently, I am trying to ignore him, and I’ll se if that works. If not, I’m gonna go on a hunger strike. But I still need people’s advice to help me out!

ok have u tried to talk to him and tell him that u dont want him around that u want this horse club to be urs and urs alone. maybe u just gotta be outright rude with him but be nice he is ur dad
